Lol. It's like a lynch mob over in the football forum. Yikes.

I made the mistake of actually trying to argue over there.

Apparently I'm a limp wristed puss with delusions of grandeur.

I made the mistake of going in the Bray Tweet thread. I'm amazed at how far some will go to defend being a douche bag.

I like the way were are transitioning to a more run-heavy team (34 runs, 24 passes). That is truly the formula for keeping games close. Dooley clearly gave Chaney the message, and it's encouraging that Dooley put his foot down and that Chaney has responded accordingly. The creativity by Chaney with Neal and Lane out of the game was impressive.

Also, John Chavis was right about CP being the best WR he's ever seen come out of HS or JUCO.

at this point, they have every right to.

same problems every week for 3 years. No one should be happy with the direction this program is and has been headed

you guys keep saying how good a job the OC did calling plays last night and i dont understand at all. twice, and on back to back series, he called a long pass play on 3rd and 4, then on 3rd and 1. both resulting in 3 and outs, at a time when msu couldnt stop our running game, and when our defense needed a rest. thats 100% coaching ineptitude.

furthermore, if an analyst like matt millen can gush all game about getting CP the ball move, why afent we doing just that? evertime he touched the ball it was an explosive play, why not throw him a screen pass? quick slant? anything to get the ball in his hands? if we wouldve lined him up at qb last night and ran gimmick plays all night long we wouldve won the game. it was almost like matt millen was begging through the glass to the UT coaches box to get CP the freaking ball! so frustrating.

I don't think he called for a long pass, bray just threw to that route. Bray does not hit the check downs enough at all.

oci, i agree i am happy we are becoming more balanced on offese. but how do you not run the ball at critical down and distances is baffling to me. the rrason msu wins last night is because we didnt do enough to keep the ball away from them and their offense on the sidelinne with our d, we have to play ball control offense

ya, but the kid has to understand the concept behind the play call. If they're calling it to clear out underneath and he doesn't realize that... Then I just don't know. Same thing on D, it just comes down to execution and understanding the concept. I like the calls.

Jay, how impressive is CP? I remember you had low expectations for him going into the season.

Can you really blame a fumble and missed tackles on coaching? Or the kickoff blunder.

I don't even see that kind of blunder at the high school level here in Georgia. When college kids make mistakes that typical high schoolers avoid, then one has to assume that players are either not being developed, or that they have digressed.

Not Jay, but CP is incredible. I hope he is back next year so he can play on a winning, hopefully, team.

The coaching staff's incompetence is what concerns me about UT football.

Right to what?

I think Jay was referring to the football forum having a right to act like a mob

im not for burning anyone at the stake but a fanbase clearly should be upset that this team is 3-3 with no wins in the SEC

how could anyone see what is transpiring as going in the right direction - sunseri isnt getting it done at all - to say it is a transition is such a pass - GA was still a top 25 defense during their "transition"

our D is a joke and it is going to get DD fired

Whats sad about CP is the low level of production we are going to get from him if he goes pro this year. Players like him dont come around very often and we are such a crappy team that it doesent even matter.

I wouldn't argue that. Certainly a right to be angry.

I was more fed up with the one's who think they have a right to be an ass and act a fool in general because they're upset and frustrated .

We did a great job keeping the ball away from MSU with a ball-control offense. In the 1st half, CP returned a kickoff for a TD and MSU recovered a kickoff. That's two possessions when our offense didn't see the field and MSU's offense went right back.

He is the most explosive player in the SEC.

maybe even the country.

yet we dont get him the ball in space, in the screen game or on hitches ...

he's the kind of WR who can turn a 5 yard hitch into 80 yard TD.

I would prefer him on Punt returns over DYoung as well.

Had Low expectations for CP because Ive seen Far too many JUCO WRs come in and need Time to adjust.

sidenote:

I know everyone loves DYoung but he just isnt the guy.

Yeah, he had some decent runs but he fumbled once and on a play up the guy he got rocked and fumbled, thankfully, the refs didnt call it (he had to come out after the hit too)

It is becoming very difficult to rationalize not making a change at the top. Last night is the second time in the Dooley era we have lost to a team with less talent than our team. Under Dooley we have not won a game against a more talented team.

Look at this game as an outside fan.

Unranked Rebuilding TN had a chance to win a road game against a ranked miss st team in a very hostile enviorment, but came up a hair short on a late drive, bc of a fumble by their 3rd string RB.

Not that bad guys.

3 biggest plays that effected the outcome:

-Byron Moore dropping a INT that was gift wrapped
-Rivera not coming up to catch a kickoff
-Young getting stripped

I really have no idea how you can blame those on coaching.

except those aren't the facts.

The facts are:

We are more talented than them (on paper) at every position save corner and our defense made Tyler Russell - an average SEC QB - look like an All-American
