THINK people...Spread may win some games but recruiting makes the world go around.

Players getting drafted into the NFL makes the recruiting alot better.

CDD got some things right like running a PRO type program.

High School kids biggest dream is getting drafted into the NFL and making big $$$.

PRO college systems put more kids into the NFL than anything else.

More that do NOT make it in the NFL come from spread O systems.

I don't care who plays the spread...as long as it's NOT at Tennessee.

I'm a fan of anyone that can come in and win some games and recruit. I don't care if they are a current oc/dc, if they are at a school were they are winning and understand what it takes to win. I have coached up many of kids in baseball and football both and I can't deal with the excuses that flow from CDD and his followers.

Yeah..Excuses,moral victories, shower etiquette(sp.?),bamboo watering,etc...Has gotten quite old and it officially got old for me after the UF game and the first half of the Akron game..That was the straw for me.

How we go from "we have depth" and "they won't have UT to kick around anymore" to "well we just don't have the players we need" is beyond me. I'm a dc on my youngest sons ms football team, and if we get beat by something a team does that I have'nt preped them for than I own up to my kids with it, I don't lay it on them.

Good coaches own up to their mistakes, Dooley has never owned up to anything..It's always someone's fault,or lack of depth, or the bamboo didn't grow fast enough..Heck, I don't know..Just know that it's old and tiresome..This thread is here for to give people hope and to vent b/c every other thread is praising Dooley it seems.

So is Jon on the plane yet ? I mean he owns land and his wife was a cheerleader and all . He did start his career as a GA here .

For the sake of argument, all the "Grudenites" do realize they are only ONE good game over the next 3 from the collapse of their house of cards, right?

I'll just say we are very alert...The number of wins in October that would save Dooley and all that is debatable, but we don't think he will get the job done...How many games do you think he needs to save his job?Would love to hear your point of view..Thank you.:salute:

Honestly Medic , I only see 2 trains of thought here . 1 : Fire Dooley NOW . 2: Lets wait . But then again i never see the Board of Trustees , The AD ,or the BIG donors here .
