Jay , who is the top five if you had to take a guess. I know who number 1 is. And I'm not saying Dooley can't save himself , because he can. Even if we don't see it happening.

Dooley hasn't won a road game outside the state of Tennessee since Nov 22 2008 (35-31 over New Mexico St).

This is what I hate about the fans who don't understand how things really are and what makes teams elite (not you). They act like whatever the current situation is, is the way it's always going to be. I know we aren't elite right now, but we will be because we are one of the elite. We just need the right people in place. Did these same people think Alabama was not elite while they were down. We knew they would be back because they are one of the elite, and they fell all the way down to 3 and 4 wins a year. If you have money, fan base, facilities and history you are and always will be the elite. Everyone goes up and down, but losing is the exception not the rule for the elite. It's just the opposite for the others like ole miss for example.
Anyway, all we need is Gruden and we will be elite again. Yes, I'm a new Grudenite! Something has to start going right for us!

Road game does not equal neutral site game. Dooley is 2-8 at UT in road games (wins at Memphis and Vandy). He was a very consistent 4-16 in road games at LaTech.

I know. I made a post a few weeks ago about the 2009 Kentucky game being the last one and you can't count the NC State game. It was on the road and out of state. Only making jokes here. Hence the not on another teams field.

It's all good, I'm sure one of our Vollyannas will make the point that since Dooley has to drive to the stadium, they're all road games.

Dooley's career is a geological wonder, the deeper you dig the less there is of it.

I have heard 2 names. They both have been mentioned.

I'm sure others are on a list. I just haven't heard enough about them.

I think im just going to post in here from now on, alot of ut fans have lost their damn minds and are blinded by their love and affection for dooley. I wake up to threads about nc state beat fsu so basically we beat fsu. Or Georgia got steamed rolled but south Carolina still isnt that good we will beat them in columbia Georgia just wasnt ready to play.
Our fan base is embarrassing, to see some of the stupidity in threads started is mind boggling. Ill donate to the dooley buy out and the gruden contract it would certainly be a better investment than the 7500 i give to the athletic department every year for a failing product.

VolNation is supposed to be fun and I don't care if anyone believes what I'm hearing. So I will just keep it to myself. I enjoy this thread and will continue to have fun in it.

I'm pretty much only reading this thread right now. It's a forum within a forum... Perhaps Freak would give this thread it's own sub forum to memorialize the movement?
