I NEVER tried or will try to get AK to UT, UGA, Oregon, texas, oklahoma, or any other of 40+ offers he has. My goal was and always has been to advise him of the recruiting game. Do I want him at UT.... HELL YEAH! I'm I going to push him to UT? NOPE... he gotta do what's best for him.

I said this on another board a few days ago. Recruits read the bull**** y'all fans write. FYI: AK READS VNATION! so does his sister who is his closest advisor, so keep being sarcastic. I haven't talked to y'all about AK because stupid alledged Vol fans do a damn good job of talking enough crap about folks they think they're not going to get; just like some of you did JCroom last year, but the difference is, I didn't let Croomster read this mess, and AK sees it for himself. SO dumb asses, if you think my relationship has a bearing on AK's decision..... could have, but if anybody push him away from UT; keep typing BS about him and what you "THINK" he's doing or going to do.

No offense to AK, but if he makes a decision based on what a few random Internet posters say about him, he's not so bright. I like to think he's smarter than that, but who knows.

This. everytime i hear the case that recruits read what we say about them. I laugh alittle. I don't want a recruit that can be that effected by fans. Just like Mzterry said its a major life decision. And why in the world would you let volnation make a major life decision.

If that program were closer, you could very well be right. I just don't have a clue how much of a factor distance is for him in his decision making process.

I still want Alvin to sport the Big Orange and still think we would be a much better choice for him that Georgia or any of the other SEC programs. Here, he has the opportunity to get on the fast track for serious playing time and even to become the starter.

How'd you get that his decision is based on it? This is probably just a small variable. Just think about it. Why the hell would you go to a school that has its main football forum over flowing with moronic "fire this, fire that", "we will never be good again" and "bench so and so"? The coaches have their pitch but this pathetic fan base doesn't help at all. It will not be THE reason he choses elsewhere but I wouldn't blame him for considering it as a small factor. Jmo IMO TiFWIW.

No disrespect MZTERRY but It's really simple...We Vol fans would love to have AK in orange. He would be welcomed with open arms, just like Jason. However, AK rarely mentions UT, rarely visits UT but does mention and visit schools like Bama and UGA regularly. Why should we even bother thinking there's even a small chance he'll be a Vol? Clearly he feels he's a better possible fit at other schools. Actions speak louder than words, right? Best of luck to him, hope he chooses Oregon so we don't have to play against him :hi:

And I don't know what to say about the folks in the football forum, can't fix stupid I guess. Hopefully recruits and families avoid listening to the vocal minority morons. :thumbsup:
