MNF: Green Bay vs. Seattle

I dunno. I just hate the Packers.

...Hate the Steelers. Hate the Cowgirls. Hate the Patriots. Hate Alabubba. Hate LSU. Hate USCw (and e). Hate people that like more than one NFL team. Hate people who follow teams because Eric Berry plays for them. Hate people who think Michael Vick is an okay person. Hate people with 4 stars. Hate people that like Bearcats.

but the seahawks arent in the AFC.................

Don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but the line was Packers +3.5. The line was covered until that last play. Cost some people some serious money, and the books made bank.

Looks like I was right. You made a play on my name, going with another drug. I made a play on yours. Escape Goat, or scapegoat. Pocket presents, or pocket presence. These are sayings some people get wrong and have been jokes on here for a while.... It was obviously too deep of a reference for you.

And on that awesome note. I am out. Later

You're still completely 100% wrong on the TD catch.

In my opinion, the replacement refs, or at least one of them blew the call in the Paker/Seahawks game. To me, it was clearly an INT, and Green Bay won the game. The game was taken away from the Packers. It's time the NFL settled with the refs and bring them back.

It was actually won by them by them blowing about 3-4 calls in row.

- The refs reversed the INT (first one) due to I guess roughing the passer... all the guy did was tackle the QB has he was running out of the pocket on the pass. It was almost a touch football tackle.
- Then the refs called def interference when in fact it was offensive interference.
- Then the refs missed the over the top interference on the last play.
- Then they rewarded the TD to a receiver who clearly did not catch the ball and barely had a hand on it.

The refs gave the seahawks the following:
- 15 yards for a roughing the passer
- 32 yards for def pass interference
- 15 yards that should have gone against them for off pass interference on Rice
- 24 yards for a catch made by Tate (this excludes the 15 yd penalty for pass interference on the last play)

The refs not only changed possession of the ball twice when they shouldn't have... they gave Seattle an extra 86 yards in the final 8 minutes when Seattle couldn't move the ball at all.

The last play was just icying on the cake, it was all the blown calls. I have no idea why Green Bay came back on the field, what would have it been a forfeit? Who cares.

I hate the Packers too, but they shouldn't have been screwed like that.

The Packers screwed themselves by surrendering 9 sacks. The Packers probably don't score a TD without the PI call (on Chancellor?) which was a bad call. The last call was bad, and chaotic, but I don't really feel like the Packers were robbed.

It was highway robbery. If, for some reason, Green Bay only gets a field goal because of the Chancellor PI, Green Bay still gets the ball back at the Seattle 30 on the interception that was called back, with the 9-7 lead and 8 minutes left. That call alone blew the game. Everything else just piled on top of it.

Yes, they were.

I thought there were some questionable calls earlier on both sides, I believe those would be questionable. For the most part they were equalish... and all of it was recoverable.

There is nothing questionable about the last 4 calls or lack of calls. This is one of those cases where the refs directly basically willed the SeaHawks to a win.

I felt GB kind of dominated the 2nd half in particular although they were not able to capitalize with points.

Yes they were robbed.

I'm in the middle. I see both points, but the refs have to give a little, and the NFL has to stop being stingy with the dough.

Agree completely - got to cough up the dough. I'm just saying I agree with the position of the NFL vis-a-vis the extra ref squads, prepping young refs to replace the geezers when necessary and a process to bench bad refs if they are really bad.
