You're not old enough to know what feels like a long time ago and what doesn't. Herschel feels like another century to me. (EDIT: that's because it was.)

Now if you'd pointed out that we're coming up on 20 years since the Sid Bream play, THAT would make me feel old.

How about the fact that the Sid Bream slide is chronologically closer to Hank Aaron wearing a Braves uniform than it is today?

That's more like it. Sounds like what I pointed out to the wife last week -- the schlocky 70s music on the radio when we were kids is older now than the ancient 50s crap our parents listened to was then.

I think that is a good thing. It's more of a place where folks come, in a somewhat sane environment, to distract themselves from that team that our favorite Univ. has been putting onto the football field the past decade.

It's Friday night, I'm smoking a cigar (yeah boys, that's right, i'm not a good two shoes lol), and am thinking about UT football. I'm scared that we haven't won a SEC title in 13 years and we are going to lose the under-25 fanbase.

Am I being dumb?

I feel apathetic towards UT football. Saturday's game? Didn't really show emotion. Turned it off, said "oh well, I'm not surprised" and watched sportscenter.

Kinda sad.

Sad for you. Not necessarily representative. The crowd on Saturday was incredible, at least until the team started wetting the bed.

The fans are just waiting for any sort of a real positive sign. Everybody will be back as soon as they even sort of start winning again.

With as on the verge as everyone was to being fully back on Saturday, everyone will be back when things stay positive for more than six days. Myself included.

In my defense, I just worked a 1-10 and didn't watch the game till 11. I was sorta drained. I think what I meant was more I really wasn't upset for it.

I agree. Just need something...anything...I'd love a win at Georgia.
