Good morning VOL faithful ... :hi:

Just gotta get thru this day and then tommorrow it's on to Knoxville, should be a rocking good time this weekend. A win in Neyland Sat. night would be icing on the cake.

This has been the longest week....ugh. I tried asking it the tailgating forum with little help. I am headed up to Knoxville early Saturday. I look to be in the Gameday crowd by 6am. What is my best bet for parking? I dont have tickets and want to tailgate. I have never tailgated at Neyland before so I am a little lost. Will the paid lots be open that early?

With Gameday being up there they will more than likely be open earlier than normal because I am sure they are expecting people to be there. As far as paid parking goes, Fort Kidd is a good paid lot. It has easy access in and out of campus and traffic is usually not too bad after the games depending on when you leave. As far as tail gating goes, I usually tail gate in 11th street garage which is a short walk from Fort Kidd. There is G10 which is right by the stadium that is always rocking, and of course the strip. As long as you are wearing orange most people will welcome you to their tail gate.

If you want you are more than welcome at our tail gate. We will have plenty of people and plenty of food.

They did. We were 46 rows up just where the tri-oval straighens up. We could see the whole track. I recorded the 1st lap folling Stewart all the way around the track. I don't think I can post videos off my phone though.

Chance cried 3 or 4 times during the Richmond race the other night because he wanted to go back. I couldn't get him to understand that Richmond is over 8hrs away.
