Wasnt there. Im here now, quit living in the past and asking stupid questions. I dont see any Libyans coming to our aid over there condemning their actions.
Huh? He condemns the administrations first response as sympathetic to the rioters who killed the ambassador, when that wasn't the first response?
They blew it, big time. That is going to be the news on this -- that Romney's campaign, in its haste to try to make some political mileage out of this, misrepresented the facts.
Don't hold me to this. But I believe I heard somewhere that the Libyan government denounced the incident and that part of the original, peaceful mob took them (the victims)to the hospital. I'm on my mobile so I can't look it up.
Watched the cable news coverage of this. All of them, except one, got into the error made by the Romney campaign in mistaking the embassy's statement on religious freedom as referencing the attacks which occurred later in the day.
Fox ignored it.
I am stunned.
Can't say that I know the man, but he appears to be at least trying to tell the truth, while most others are taking the low road with false blame and personal insults.
he is holding this administrations foreign policy under the same scrutiny as Bush's, not whitewashing it
if you're so worried about keeping the focus on the attackers then how would diverting attention onto Romney be telling the truth? It's an idiotic ploy to try and divert attention away from the real cause
The partisanship by some on this board is unbelievable.
