It felt like it was going in slow motion watching him adjust. It was a thing of beauty. CP reversve was the same way. The whole time on both of those plays it was like a dream lol.

I was talking about them all wkd lol

All he has to do now is just burn a few Gators and Bamers like that, and he'll likely find a roster spot on some NFL team next year.

what amazed me about that catch, is the fact that he had to slow down (almost stop) to catch it and Amersen still couldnt catch him when he hit the burners.:loco:

amazing catch. however it didn't need to be that difficult. i think he got turned around or maybe lost it in the lights for a second. the receiver has pleanty of time to see the ball coming and adjust. there were no players around him so i'm not sure why he was so out of position. maybe he just wanted to make it much more difficult so he could show off his atheletism and tell all the critics suck it!

It was the throw that made him adjust he wasn't out of position.

A throw like that from bray and a tight spiral changes angles after it hits its arc and comes down more toward the sideline. A leftys throw would have spun the other way and led zr to the middle of the field.

That is one of the most difficult catches a receiver has to make, and then for him to get back up to speed was one of the best things I have seen in quite a while from any of our receivers! Outstanding play!

The funny thing is, as amazing/difficult as that catch was, had he dropped it, people would've been saying things like "The same ol' ZR, Concrete Hands, etc." and ignoring that fact that it was extremely difficult. I'm just glad he caught it, so he can earn some respect.

He's definitely earned respect from me..No more negative ZRo comments.:salute:

I think the laws of inertia would apply. He's moving at sufficient speed and with a noticeable right body lean. The ball is approaching over his left shoulder. Which means the ball's angle and motion coincides with the right lean of the body. What happens then is the catch matches and flows with the right striding movement similar to entering a curve on a track field. Then ZR actually slightly modifies this to a more forward stride while still moving right in relation to the field orientation. If you look at where he ends up it is the right side of the field as he crosses the goal line. Of course Amerson's pursuit encourages his maintaining this action to both outrun and prevent the pursuit from catching him.

Not to sound like a smartass or something but you can actually see what I described. It certainly doesn't take an iota from ZR's remarkable agility shown with this catch. The fact he had to look up and over his shoulder and still make the catch, for me is the most amazing part of the catch. The eye-hand coordination for this, I find to be stunning.

I will need to see your equations before I can make a final judgement as to whether you are correct.

It was a heck of a catch. I am so proud to see him stepping up. We have to have him play at this level to face the better defence's.I was wrong and I'm sorry.

Amerson was lost the whole night..Then he was seen on the sidelines chewing his mouthpiece.:eek:lol:

I think he was believing the hype on himself and thought there was no way our wr's were that fast and that good....

For those who haven't seen it, this is a still shot of "White Lightning's" amazing, almost physics bending catch. From this angle, there should be no way that he remained upright but somehow he did. To me, this picture makes the already great catch just that much more amazing. Well done, ZR. Keep up the great work.

I had to make this my Profile Avi!!!:loco:

Physics? LOL! Soon all the bed-ridden blobs will be saying that running on two feet is surely a feat of the Gods!

Great catch though.
