'13 JUCO DT Ben Bradley (Auburn commmit)

I really hope Toby will be a Vol. We have tons of connections and he said we are the leader in early April, but he has been visiting a lot of schools (UGA, Nebraska, A&M). Skeeter is he just enjoying the process, you've been pretty informed about his recruitment so you probably know way more than me about him?

I really don't know. He has repeated he wants early playing time from Day 1. I know this sounds insane, but I think the D-line depth is going to be decent next year and he is going to have to fight to make the two deep, which could be a problem if he takes a serious look at the depth chart.

I think if UT can get him to Knoxville when CP, Staley and maybe on a visit with Bradley, then UT hopefully can lock him up and continue to show him this is the right place.

Also, I apologize for talking about Toby on Ben's thread, but I will be very excited to have both players. Bradley is a great pickup.

The depth chart shouldn't worry him.

I think hes already a Vol. But as long as kids are taking visits, you just never know. He may end up finding a place and coaches he likes better than ours.

Thundervol55 asked Perroni (who evaluates JUCO's on Rivals) if he would evaluate Bradley and assign him a star rating. Perroni's response...

So Perroni has never seen any film on Bradley but already has an idea of his star ranking. Yet rivals claims to not base ratings on offer lists. Some real in depth evaluating going on over there. Maybe, just maybe, we should trust the coach's evaluations over guys like Perroni?

I bet VN could look at the offer lists for the JUCO players from all JUCO schools and compile a top-50 rankings that almost mirrors Rivals. Scout.com: Junior College Football Teams - JCFootball.com

Bradley: He actually looked short next to Toby Johnson but Johnson is a legit 6-4 and I'd say Bradley is 6-2. He played a 1-tech most of the evening so he wasn't a major factor in the pass rush but he is a big body that will clog up the middle. The Hutchinson DL had not depth so he was forced to play pretty much every snap. He got winded on long series but he will have ration help at Tennessee. He didn't wow me in any one area but he was a solid player.
