Wouldn't be surprised if he just transfers, plays a year, then goes pro. Not worth sticking around here if he won't play

While i'm upset by this, it really doesn't change my opinion of the season too much. I think we have too much talent (even if unproven yet) at that position. I think someone else steps up and we still go 9-3.

Don't know what he did. Wish he hadn't done whatever he did. But does not change my opinion of this team or how we will do this year.

Go Vols!

Dooley doesn't suspend players. When you are in serious trouble, you are "not a part of the team". Dooley probrably said what he said because he isn't on the team right now so they are planning like he isn't. It also is an alarm for Da'Rick to get done what he needs to get done.

A different take.

Care to summarize for those of us at work?

"Focused on NC State"

"We have two other really talented WRs, zach rogers, young guys, mike rivera"

"Never helps to lose a receiver, but we're focused on NC State"

Clearly upset, but focused on moving forward. Realizes it's out of his control.

Thanks!

Somebody said it in another thread, and they're right: We have a QB that is capable of making inexperienced WRs look good. Bowles, Blanc, Pig, etc.

I pray to the good lord we have a run game that can be sufficient, but even if so, prepare to sling it, Mr. Bray.

Team chemistry just got a lot better. I just hope it's enough to offset the loss of DR...my suspicion is that it will be.

On DR...

But wanted to clarify some things.

This is not agent related. Rogers hasn't hired an agent. He hasn't taken things from an agent that anyone is aware of. That was not the reason for today's suspension.

Also, Rogers is academically eligible to play. So it's not a late might grade issue.

This is an "internal (meaning in the program) behavioral" issue from earlier this week.
