Apparently he liked it so much that he tried to skip his junior year and signed with an agent.

I would assume, if true, that he is ineligible and just has to sit out this year and then hope he's drafted next year. Maybe he was afraid that he wouldn't have as good a season with adequate help at WR, so he sabotaged his JR year, hoping someone would draft him based on last year's results alone.
