Dooley just said he doesn't expect Rogers back this season

I took it to mean that he'd prefer that Dooley not be the coach at UT and this moves us that direction.

Couldn't happen to a better guy, though? It's one thing to question his coaching. That just seems like it takes it a step too far.

A coach doesn't say publicly that their "expectations are that he won't play at all this season" unless they are 99% sure it's damage that can't be undone.

If Da'Rick being gone were to cost us a win, Justin Hunter and Cordarelle Patterson are nowhere near as good as advertised.

Not necessarily. Our slot guy, being any of the 3 was going to house some people. That might still be the case, but the odds just went down.

I love JHunter and think he's the best of the bunch, but ACL recovery has proven to be a 2nd year return to full ability. See: Greg Childs, who played a similar game to Hunter.

CP is simply unproven, so it's tough to hang your hat there. We knew for sure than Da'Rick could haul his show into traffic, abuse DBs and make tough catches.

When 90% of the kids Kiffin recruited were thugs and got kicked off the team then yes you can blame the coach. Dooley has recruited some pretty stand up guys, it's just that Da'rick wanted to get agent benefits before he was done playing so it had to be done.

I'm sorry, but until this has been substantiated, it is not a good rumor to perpetuate. It is not good for Rogers and is definitely not good for UT.

so much for a national title run. now all we need is for one te and a wr to get hurt (which i hope doesn't happen) to get the same results of last season. why why why?? why can' this crap happen to florida and bama instead of us?

You clearly haven't seen our depth chart at WR.
