I agree. What a sht in the arm he has been. Good move by Wren signing him up. We very well could have been 0-3 in the games we started if we would not have picked him considering those game most likely would have been started by Jurrjens

Shields has been very solid for years in the offensive rich AL East. I think he would be awesome in the NL

The more I think about it, the more I would love to add Jamie Shields.

Four Reasons:

1) Experienced pitcher who has been there before.

2) Signed through 2013 and his contract his worth his value.

3) He's an innings eater, something Atlanta desperately needs.

4) He's been a solid starter in the AL East. I think he'd thrive in ATL.
