He could ride the bench at Ala for 3 yrs or come start immediately at UT. Thats a no brainer. Of course he would probably get atleast 1-2 NC rings there and most likely none here. Think most kids would put starting over NC.

They've met their quota for NC's so they won't be having another one till long after Henry graduates ... no brainer ... UT BABEEEEE!!!:pepper::pepper:

So if he commits in Aug as it now appears he will you are saying to UT?

all im reporting is that henry was listening to what former alabama players had to say about how saban "works" his magic with recruits . sounds like henry was definitely listening to sentimore. i'm not saying he is 100% sold on UT, but that most UT players believed that if he did not commit when he visited UA the past week that he would be a Vol...FWIW

derrick henry committing would be the best recruiting news this program has had in a long time. even bigger than when rogers, patterson, hunter or even bryce brown committed cause we are more desperate for a game changing rb than i can ever remember.

i hope you are right babyavi. and as a suggestion i think your avi should change weekly and should be tats that you think reynolds baby should be inked with.

Let me introduce you to Mr. Alvin Kamara, too, then. I'm telling you guys...listen or don't...we will pull at least one of these two.

Most of what I have heard about derrick henry is that he doesn't seem to fit the true running back mold. An athletic freak to be sure, but not a true running back. That does not exactly jive with your post.

Mostly because he is 6'4 240 going into his senior year of HS.

I think he is. No my opinion doesn't matter and its an uneducated one at best but I think he will be a hell of a back. I know that normally kids his size get converted into other positions but i just got a feeling he's a brandon Jacobs kind of guy, a beast of a man and great rb. Some reports say he's not actually 6'4 and closer to 6'2. That would help some I'm sure since the prototypical size is usually closer to the 6' range. But i think regardless of all that he will be a heck of a player.
