take my word of advice; don't get too far out of pocket about AK or JCroom or Big Ben... I haven't learned to tame my mouth or the way I feel or think about these kids and who they are to me.

I think it's funny to see how people act in a thread when they know the recruits' family and friends are watching.

They certainly don't act the same way as they do in other threads.

Why wouldn't he? It is a great experience. He will come and have a good time watching his friend. In the end, he is a senior in high school playing football. Some of these kids will be in the NFL and some will not get drafted. But, they will get an education and have memories for life playing D1 college football. But, in the grand scheme of things, it means alot for my entertainment but little for my interest in the real important things of life. Part of that is having the respect of others and bashing high school kids on which college they attend when they don't choose the one I pull for is having misplaced life priorities.

No doubt. And it's ridiculous what they've posted and done IRL. They kiss up to MZT to an embarrassing level. It's very strange. & this AK thread takes it to a new level.

I lost count of the outright bizarre & embarrassing things that have been done.

You must have not been around when Arian Foster had his fumbles. It was tough to watch. I really hate that it happened. Fostermom was a tough lady and gave as good as she got. Anonymous boards allow for some hateful sh!t to be said.

Some are trying to be respectful while attempting to pry information from her, and some are just being nice because she is a Vol mom, and I respect the latter.

We are training PM&R docs left and right with Kypho. You should find a Medtronic rep and go. I'm usually there.

Message boards are worse than road rage. People act up and say things that they would NEVER say in person.

Thick skin is good but sometimes you need a deaf ear.

well some parents can handle message boards and others can't.. i remember foster's mom who got into it with volunteer fans and then would pay for other boards on rivals and go after their fans if they said negative things about foster. you definately need a thick skin as you said and also not be quick to react.

Yup, can find one here in TX, but if I could find a training conference/course in or around Knoxville on a home game weekend, then the trip would be a business write-off... All I would have to do is buy my tickets :)
