UA and GA are absolutely loaded at RB.
I don't believe he goes there though.
His top 3 on 247 includes Oregon. I think they might be the dark horse here, and UT.

You guys mean you don't enjoy the bama recruiting updates? Lol I see where yall are coming from but TW brings quite a bit of info..it may be mostly about bama but I don't mind getting updates from opposing fans as long as they aren't overly excessive...that way I don't have to go read their boards. But that's definitely JMO.

Here's my deal. It's a Tennessee Recruiting Forum. Yes, if an update on a player we're after involves Alabama, that's pertinent information. However, we aren't even in the running for some of these guys. So, when I see a bump of a thread, I get excited because I think there is a Tennessee recruiting update. And also, I hate Alabama.

Oh lawd there is a lotta dramma going on in this thread. TW, HG, and MC are all respectful posters on VN that bring bring some recruiting info from opposing fan perspective. I think it's all good and probably some good peeps to have a brew with. I have Bama, UGA, UF, AR, LSU, Miami, and FSU friends and we all get along just fine. As long as these guys act respectful I have no problem with them. LOL there are a few UT fans on this board that I think VN would be a better place if they weren't around but that it's my call.

As far AK is concerned everyone is just going to have to be patient with his recruitment and see how it plays out. I am sure the coaches are doing their think with AK's recruitment.

To be fair, most of the people who follow recruiting follow it on a national level. Not just Tennessee recruiting.

I appreciate all info on any recruit because we could be playing against them in the future.

I think it's safe to say that most elite RB prospects are taking a "Wait and See" approach with us. And for good reason. We did just come off a 5-7 season, and had no running attack to speak of (for the first time in a long, long time).

Then it appears that our offense may have shifted to more of a Pass-Oriented Spread look. Not good for RB's as they will have to compete for very limited carries.

If we start lighting up the conference (many major programs come out of their slump in a rapid and dramatic way), and start showing more of a balanced attack, then we will get our share of those guys.

Good to hear that he is not ready to commit anywhere just yet -- shows good leadership by Momma Croom. I hope that he at least waits to see what kind of product Tennessee puts on the field this year.

If I were him I would wait at least until well into the season to even think about making a final decision public. If he feels the need in order to secure a place on the team of his choice, he can make a silent commitment to the coach there but still take all his visits on someone else's dime and fully enjoy the process until either he gets tired of it or NSD brings an end to it all -- he will never be able to go through an experience quite like this again.

I hope Alvin is blessed and kept safe during all of this, and that the Lord gives him the wisdom to make the right decision for him (and of course I hope that means he chooses to come to Tennessee and be a VFL while playing alongside Jason).

I personally have never seen you being rude on here (unless provoked) and have no problem with you posting on this board and I AM A BAMA HATER. I have a deep down SEC hatred for a rival team that we have played for around a hundred years and goes back and forth on which team is dominant, and feel it's our turn again. But I will say...... If it's an SEC team (any SEC team) playing in the NC game against another conferences team, I'm rooting for that SEC team regardless.

My bama friend said new word from their end is that they're out of it.

And their people seem to think he is all UGA since the Crowell mess.

Of course I will support whatever decision he makes, but like you, I'm praying that he and Jason & Big Ben stay together.

Mzterry can you say whether or not the staff ( Tenn ) is showing him significant interest? I'm sure they are but that pisses me off a lil by them not inviting him to any camps.

Maybe they dont need to see him? They know he is good and have offered him. How many other top rbs have we asked to camp with us?

That is what I'm guessing.....I'd assume they were wanting to get a look at some other backs and they know what they got in Kamara. Heck I have know idea the thought process but owell it will all work out one way or the other.

I really don't know, but that is what I assume. Id like to know if we have invited other top backs or not. I think we haven't.
