Good post. I should have added keeping us clean with the NCAA. Winning and the NCAA is all that matters to me. Sorry I don't care if a coach has personal issues or not.

You really are as stupid as anyone as I have ever met...you really think Petrino is clean? Sweet Baby Jesus, can I have what you're smoking.

I would take Saban. No, I would not take Cal if he offered to work for free. He has way too much baggage for my taste.

The point is both Saban and Cal are questionable human beings just like BobbyP. Those fan bases could care less at Bama and KY and that's my point.

Has he ever been in trouble with the NCAA? If so I don't recall any issues.

No thanks. I want TN to have a coach with more class and moral values than Petrino has show throughout his career.

Last time I read one of your posts I said to myself "If the next one I see is like this then my ignore list will have another member."

I am standing by my word.

I only know of a couple minor issues with Saban. What do you know?

Those guys have both won NCs in their respective sports. When did Petrino win one?

I could argue what he did at Louisville and Ark was just as impressive as with a national title at the best two jobs in their respective sports and it would be a very good argument.

If being happy with a coach that wins is being stupid then you are correct. I could care less about anything in his personal life. Winning is all that matters at a place like Tenn.

first off i want to win just as bad as anybody else but why would u want a scum bag that wins games? we are Tennessee we have tradition, history and great character and we win games and Dooley is gonna win games with all that i have just listed do you not remember us being in the news for everything under the sun the last couple of years and how embarrassed we were? i just don't understand it does make you sound stupid? Tennessee needs to stay as far away from petrino as possible i mean whats next you gonna say we need to hire john calipari as our next basketball coach?

Can't we have at least one spring without a "when Dooley's fired" thread? Dooley finally has depth, the kind of players he needs to do what he wants (for the most part) and what appears to be loyal coaches that are on the same page with him (just a hunch). I'm looking forward to what this season brings.

No it isn't. A NC is a NC. If you don't have one you don't have one.

The bolded part is arguable and not fact.

Why would UT hire a guy with that kind of character with all that we have been through!?? I am just waiting for the thread about how now we know what happened to Otha Peters that famous weekend he went down to Fayetteville without his Momma- Dorrell, the girl Petrino was with, was hired as student-athlete devel coor- which was in charge of organizing the recruiting process for the football team! If she is having an affair with the HC, no telling what she was putting together on a regular basis for recruits! If someone got to the true bottom of this, we would find out that this would make our Hostess-gate look like a bunch of girl scouts or nuns!

Who gives a **** if he can't recruit, who cares if he can even coach you dumbass. God really...you're just beyond stupid. I think we should take a vote on rather you should be banned for even thinking this stupid **** up. I vote you take a long walk off a short pier into a pool of great white sharks with a cut on your arm and leg....

So winning 10games at LSU takes the same coaching skill as winning 10games at Ark? Just to clarify your stance in this discussion.

If it came down to BobbyP or Smart it would be an easy choice. The coach that is proven he can win and take programs to higher levels than ever before.

The choice is easy. None of the above.

He isn't a great recruiter I agree but can u imagine him with our skill players on offense? It would be scary

We would still get beat on defense when we played teams like Bama and LSU who have legit defenses. Add that UGA and UF are still recruiting crazy good, and we would have a huge problem. I honestly think Arky is going to take a huge step back this year and that was before the scandal. Arky does not have a complete team at all, they are one-sided. Now that they have lost their best recievers, they have to hope others can fill the void.

People say he is great at developing talent, but his best players were 4 stars or higher. Adams, Wilson, Mallet, Wright, and Knile Davis were 4 stars
