NCAA Tourney Running Thread

damn cuttin these boys heads off quick

fat lady do your thing

It's a 15 seed, what did you expect?

As long as you don't have some problem like your players are all really small, and there's noone big/solid enough to really play defense/rebound, then you were going to be good

how did missouri lose to these guys? honestly.

Missouri's, pretty much, all tiny

No real big/solid man; so issues rebounding, problems defending depending on matchup

Pretty much another case of "not getting anywhere in the tournament without big men"

it ain't like florida's very big. they have one post player with muscle and the guards are tiny.

Yeah we really don't have size either.

NSU was never anything more than a team trying to pull an upset. They accomplished that. Now they are done. They might match up well against Florida too, but you only get to play the game of your life one time. God must be a Gator fan.

All I'm saying, is that - when everyone was looking at all the teams and analyzing their chances of advancing - they weren't all talking about Florida needing to avoid the physical/taller/more defensive teams to make a run were they?(and/or that it looked like their region was fairly devoid of those teams).

(they had no answer for the center; he ended up with about 30 pts)

Look at their the rosters maybe.

Part of it was terrible matchup; though part of it probably just walking into it

Pretty certain Marquette beats UF and Michigan State beats Louisville. Assuming a MSU-Marquette regional final, I'd take Marquette in a minor upset.

Also another good point.

Nice way to *****slap Norfolk State, Gators.

Lehigh is punking Xavier so far.

So Marshall fractured his wrist? No way Carolina makes it past Kansas. Might lose vs the USF, Ohio winner

Keep your eyes on the Lehigh game.

FACT: No 15 seed has ever won a 2nd round game.

Great matchup between Xavier/Lehigh. McCollum/Holloway is as good of a guard battle as we'll see in this tournament.

Also, Xavier losing to a 15 seed after beating Notre Dame would be the most 2012 Xavier loss ever, regardless of quality.
