Indeed. Still love our chances. We get last throwing visit. Last night I was convinced. Today, I still feel the same way. I admit I was nervous earlier though. They only stayed 3 hours. I think it was their last ditch effort to convince him. I also think it was a failed one. Also, I don't think the 49ers have anywhere near the cap room to sign him, plus they are NFC, and play Eli next year. They are for sure the team with the best situation for him though, too bad they don't have the space to add him, unless Peyton gives them a break money wise, which I don't see happening. Stranger things have happened though.

I don't think that is necessarily accurate...it's a common assumption, but just look at how paltry of a team they were going into last season. With the SAME level of talent they had in the NFC Championship, no one was suggesting that they were a SuperBowl caliber team.

Like the Ravens, their defense carried the team the entire way. Their OL was getting owned in a number of games last year. I remember watching them play the Ravens (I think it was), and the OL gave up sack after sack. They improved by the time the playoffs came around, but that offense was worse than our own.

If we can sign Chris Meyers (C) away from the Texans, we have just upgraded an already good OL (just signed Pro Bowl guard, S. Hutchinson yesterday).

We can upgrade the DL in the draft. I think we were probably going to see Locker beat out Hasselbeck for the starting job, and I expect that with or without Peyton, this is a Playoff caliber team. Hard to say if it will be a SB caliber team, as the GB Packers and NO Saints looked like sure bets to represent the NFC this year.

I agree, but I think Peyton would put them over the top. I do think we get Myers, and Peyton. I agree. We can adress tons of needs in the draft, and this team drafts very wel.

Wherever Peyton signs, I hope it's somewhere he can win a SB. I'm not sure if the Titans are good enough to do that. I didn't really follow them last year though so I'm not sure. Do the Titans have any quality receivers? How's their defense? I know they're set at RB, but what else do they have?

Kenny Britt was on the verge of becoming a dominant receiver last season before he blew out his knee. He's very good. They also have a good, young tight end whose name I can't remember off the top of my head. Their O-Line was great at pass blocking last season, not so much at run blocking at times. But, as we all saw in Indy, Peyton Manning changes the dynamic of any offense he runs, and has the ability to make even mediocre receivers look great.
