does anyone realize how close Ohio State was to losing to Xavier??

Xavier up 3, and guy misses his second ft with 8 seconds left, Lewis runs down (sound familiar anyone?) and puts in a 3 to tie it with 8 seconds left. Uhhm deja vu anyone?

Remember Xavier barely got in the tourney and I think we are better than them. Perhaps Ohio State's luck runs out next time.

While I tend to agree with your overview, Ohio State could have quit when they were down 9 with less than 3 minutes left but they didn't...they looked like a championship team in the way they didn't give up and fought back and then without Oden in overtime did whatever they wanted...

When you play 6 games and you keep them all close, that my friend is a formula for loss. It only takes one.

how'd they look getting to the point that they had to fight back and until the missed FT with 9 seconds left?

Keep in mind too... Pearl hasn't lost to the same team twice in the same season at UT. Florida, Kentucky, and Vandy all included. In those second games, Florida and Vandy were blowouts (even if Florida didn't care at the time).

It think if we win, it will have to be big. OSU doesn't lose close, and it pains me to say that.

If they did what they needed to do when they needed to do the game would have been a blowout. That game never should have gotten that close.

I was making a point that it looked exactly like our game. Then I was generating a debate with whether OSU could keep it up. Apparently you're too stupid to understand the thread. :no:
