I got in pretty quick most of the day. The longest wait was at the very beginning of the day and even that turned out to be pretty short.

March Madness On Demand. It's on the SportsLine website, you can watch any game online as long as its not locally blacked out.

I know this was posted in another thread, but I couldn't find it. What site has the games online. Will they be online today as well? There's nothing better to do on a Friday at work than to watch some games.

Anyone know if the Tennessee/LBS game will be available on MMOD in Knoxville? I had this horrible premonition that it'll be blacked out here for some reason and I won't be able to watch at work!

It probably will be blacked out, unfortunately. They seem to be blocking games that are available over the air in your area. I wanted to watch a game yesterday on the computer upstairs where I have no TV, and it wouldn't work.

You won't. I have to believe that it will be on your local CBS affilite in Knoxville and I tried to watch a game yesterday while my fiancee watched Grey's Anatomy (don't ask or make fun) and I couldn't watch North Carolina because it was on here in Atlanta...It will tell you that it is on your affilite and you can't watch it on MMOD...

I'm getting ready to create a second MMOD account, this time with a fictitious address in the Midwest. Hopefully, if my primary account is blocked out due to my real zip, I can fallback on the secondary account.

I think it goes by IP address of your computer but if it works more power too you...That just seems way too easy...

You could cross-reference ARIN (the registry of IP numbers) to see who owns a particular block of IP addresses, but that wouldn't tell you necessarily where a client IP is, only the headquarters of the company that controls that block of numbers.

It usually gives it away. That's how some web sites will offer you COLLEGE GIRLS IN YOUR AREA WANT TO S. AND F. NOW!!!!!! and then have "Angela in Marietta" or whatever underneath.

There are ways around it, but for most of us with a cable or DSL connection you can tell where a user's located.
