In all fairness to Dalton, he is still committed to Tennessee, he didnt just up and leave us because his daddy said so. But the coaches feel if his visit goes well this weekend, he will be a horn. He would get to stay close to home and make his family happy.

Have you heard the specifics of the "icy" reception the coaches received last night?

But they seem to suck when they get there. Titans ex coach Jeff Fisher brought quite a few to Nashville and they all are sub par. Especially the genious qb you guys had.

Neither does Vanderbilt......20th round of the draft that is.

Yeah his dad is a arrogant pos. Half of me wishes he would take his kid and go to texas so we never have to deal with him, the other half wants Dalton here because he is a good kid.

I can only imagine...when his Dad is already dead set on him going to Tejas. He probably didn't even want to let them in.

I wonder if his dad is that bad, would he bring some animosity with Dalton to UT? I mean if he acts like that.... I've seen some pretty mischevious dads when they don't get their way over football.

It's not as much about the style of play, as it is the style of players in the SEC that gets players more NFL ready...

SEC >BIG12 in NFL payers.

I understand that, it just vexes me that people are acting like it will be so hard for him to make it to the nfl if he doesn't play in the sec. Not every nfl player came from the sec. If he is talented enough he will find a way to make it to the league, regardless of the conference he plays in. I think there are plenty of valid reasons why ds should come to ut, I just dont think this is one of them.

Picking Tennessee is always the right decision. Did you think you logged on to Bevo-nation?

I really wish LT was still on the staff and would have been one of the coaches to visit Dalton. He would have lit his dad's a$$ up.

It's less than a week before signing day genius, circumstances are a little different.

Ouchie! Sounds like Dalton may have a lot of baggage (ie. pappy) hate to say it but I'm already getting over Santos.

Shut the hell up and get out. You just created an account to stir the pot. You're just trolling.

Texas offered another LB - Bryce Cottrell (Oregon commit from Plano) a day or two after offering Santos. Cottrell is visiting this weekend along with Santos.

Does Texas have room to take both or is this a situation where the first guy who commits gets the one slot? Not that it means anything, but the latest recruiting update I read on a Texas site didn't even mention Santos.

He would be a nice addition to the class but I too am tired of hearing about him already, we will know for sure soon enough.
