'12 TX LB Dalton Santos (Texas Commit)

I think Santos is a lifelong Texas fan, could be wrong but I am sure I read that somewhere. Anyway, that would be bad for us that TU now has room for him. Santos is a big, true MLB who admitted that he loves the smash mouth style of the SEC, that is was more suitable for his style of play...that is still in UT favor as TU plays in the pass happy, spread/gimmicky Big 12. Hope he thinks this one through and stays loyal to UT

It's funny if you read shaggbevo's recruiting page under the Texas recruiting notes that about half the Texas folks commenting don't even want him. They are just desperate for a backup mlb according to their comments.

And apparently, Dalton is okay with being a 3rd or 4th option for Texas.

If he decommits then so be it, but the real UT(Tennessee)is on the rise and we're going places. Santos would be a tough loss to mend, but if it does happen its not going to kill our class. Im holding out hope that he sticks with Tennessee.
