Even though Santos is not our "highest" rated recruit, it almost seems like he is the centerpiece of our class. I hope we hang on, but I think the staff has done all they could to get him.

I can believe what I want.....but I'm not going to pop off my mouth like what I believe is fact. YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT DALTON IS THINKING OR HOW HE FEELS.

This. At this point nobody knows his true feelings about it except for Dalton, his family, and the coaches have a good idea. Hubbs or anybody else does not know at this point

As hard as it would be to lose this guy to another school, we've offered all there is to offer. If Dalton ultimately wants to play for another team more than Tennessee then LET HIM GO. We want players like Justin King who bleed Orange through and through. No hard feelings. Players choose schools for a variety of reasons.

I think he is wagging the dog a little too.

Texans are an odd bunch when it comes to Texas. it can get irritating pretty quickly.

Texans have a love/hate attitude towards Tennessee. Tennesseans are very much a part of their history. Sam Houston was a Governor of Tennessee before he went to Arkansas and Texas. But they do have that bigger thing going. Personally, Texas looks to me like something Tennesseans stole from Old Mexico, dry land with scrub trees. The Smoky Mountains are the oldest ecosystem on the planet, a beautifully unique place on Earth.

I wouldn't hate on Santos if he decided to stay there. But we've shown the guy a lot of love, and Texas offered him only as an afterthought. I'm hoping that Santos has some pioneering spirit that will bring him to Tennessee and many glorious victories in the big SEC.
