Is this team too young to go far in the tournament?

I think talent can outshine inexperance these days. With that said tOSU and UNC are going to be VERY tough to beat. As far as the Ramar/Conley debate I love Ramar but I'll definatley take Conley at this point.

For our team and our style of fast break play, I would take Ramar on this team in this system than I would take Conely. That is why BP went after Smith and not Conely.

We wouldn't have landed Conley anyways. He loves Matta and wanted to stay with Oden.

Right there.

If you would take the time to read every post I have made it will tell you that I believe their duo of freshman are better Talent wise, as a whole than ours right now in this moment and it is heavily skewed by Oden i'll admit...

IN the long run you guys are all correct, it appears that Ramar is going to be great...

But nothing down the road matter right now...that's all...

Talent pretty much means down the road. Anyways... moving on to how our young guys will do in the tournament.

Don't be an a$$ about it. You lost the argument when you changed it half way through the discussion.

Whoa buddy, you need to relax...

You can obviously see by the smile at the end that I am completely not serious...believe me I could care less about winning any arguments on Volnation.com with lacrossepro70 or anyone else for that matter...just all in good fun my man...:eek:k:

NBA talent wise, Ramar definitely has the edge cause of his athleticism and potential.. But right now in college, they both are really close in talent.. That's right now..
In a few years and in the NBA, i would take Ramar, he's got a great NBA body for PG..

We are VERY young and VERY unexperienced in tournament style play and that showed in the tournament and last year and the SEC tournament this year so I believe that Lofton and Jajuan need to really step up and lead this team...

With that said, I believe we received a very favorable draw and should have quite a number more fans than any of the other seeds in Lexington in out bracket of 4...so I believe we should reach the Sweet Sixteen but run into OSU and get beat...

Go Vols..

We can beat OSU if we play our best game ever.

We just barely lost to them at OSU. I don't believe that they are unbeatable, especially if we are hot. Now if JuJuan goes out and throws up a bunch of stupid shots, well...LB could beat us.

But not only if we play our best game ever. We almost beat them in their house with their players foot clearly out of bound with time left for one shot. I would have given us a 40% chance of winning that game if the ref was doing his job at the end of that game.

True, but we played pretty well that game, and Ohio State is a much much much better team now than they were then. Look at their games against Wisconson for proof.

There 49-48 win over Wisconsin was nothing short of a boring game, and today, Wisconsin looked awful. OSU is good, but I think they can be beat.
