So, I partied on NY with this girl who ended up living right down the hall from me in my dorm. Well she and her roommate came over to drink a few nights ago. The roommate had NEVER drank before. She's also a virgin and never had a bf. To make it even worse, it was her sorority's week where they can't drink.

This girl starts throwing drinks back, and of course I am impressed and encouraging her. She drank more than any girl I've ever seen. When I saw how far she was going I sort of tried to stop her but she just kept going. I ended up having to carry her to her room and put her in her bed. She immediately got the spins when she laid down, and then rushed to the toilet. I did the holding her hair deal, but then both of her arms fell into the toilet and got vomit all over her. So I had to strip her to her undies and put her in the dang shower. Her roommate dressed her and I threw her back in bed. I had to hold a trashcan while she puked like three times. She finally fell asleep holding onto me for dear life. I sat in the room babysitting her and talking to the other roommate, who couldn't handle her puking, for 3 hours until 6 in the morning.

She cried all night, though. I feel so guilty and like such an ass. I went by her room and apologized for letting her drink so much. I don't think she is holding it against me. She's a sweetheart.

Ehh, our lake is soooo nasty. I either got sick from swimming in it or I caught something (not the haidz) in Key West. But it can be a fun time.

DVD is still king. That, or the market just underestimates the demand, because bluray is ALWAYS out at the video rental store/redbox.

hd channels cost a bit extra.

At first, bluray players were really expensive, so not many people picked them up. They've become quite a bit cheaper now, but blurays themselves run about $5-10 more than a DVD.

I find comfort in knowing that for the first time in 15 years she isn't battling just to take a breath. I just hate it for my grandma. That was her only sister and all she has left is my grandpa. But thank you ego very much.

dang kat your family just isn't having any luck...sorry to hear that kat...hopefully things will start looking up for the better
