The latest ESPN Bracketology has been updated and I must say even though UT has slipped to a #6 seed, it is a very favorable region!! I would love for UT to be a 6 seed if it were with these teams.

Our first matchup would be against ODU who lost to GMU in the semifinals of their conference tourney by 16. Our next game would more than likely be against Southern Illinois who has a good record, but has only played 1 ranked team all year(Butler). They lost in their conference tourney to no name Creighton, So Illinois also plays a small lineup with their biggest starte being 6'7" 235 so they play a small lineup.

If we got through that, we would more than likely play Wisconson. While WU has been great all year, they did just lose their top rebounder to injury.

If Joe Lunardi is correct, I would LOVE to see this bracket come to fruition. I'll hang up and listen to your comment!haha

You know little to nothing about basketball, no offense. Creighton isn't a no name.

No Offense to Creighton, but when comparing them to the Florida's and the Kentucky's of the world...yes they are. Although they are probably one of those dangerous teams you don't want to play.

If you compare schools to Florida and Kentucky, A LOT of schools are no names, including Tennessee.

The only people Creighton is a no name to are the halfwits who watch college basketball for three weeks a year and fill out their brackets according to uniform colors or mascots.

This must be your most bittersweet time of year, Hat. :) Sweet because of all of the college hoops. Bitter because of the halfwits.

I guess my point in saying they are no name is 22-10, yet they have only played 1 ranked team all year. You can probably argue that's not 100% in their control, but I feel they have not been tested against a fast and talented team such as UT.

Hey, it's not my fault I don't know much about Creighton. I live in Chicago heart of Big 10 country and all you hear about is Illinois this, Indiana that!UGGGH! Not to mention I work for a tv station and the Big 10 network sits right next to me. I am force fed nothing but Big 10 basketball all day....UGGGHHH!

I don't mean you specifically. You've shown you have a working knowledge of Creighton. It's the people who think it's spelled Krayton and couldn't name what region of the country the scool is located in that draw my ire.

Creighton has made 6 of the last 9 dances, including 5 in a row at one point.

SIU has made 5 of the last 9, but really 5 of the last 5.

Add in this year, and Creighton will have made 7 of 10 and SIU 6 of 10.

I live in Arizona and I know plenty about Creighton.

Creighton took care of SIU 6 days ago and beat Xavier early this season - both are better than Tennessee.

SIU beat Butler weeks ago, and Butler thrashed us this season.

Creighton as a 12 seed beat FLORIDA in 2002. SIU made the Sweet 16 in 2002. There are exactly ZERO no names in the tournament - except sometimes those stinky, sneaky 16 seeds.

I always believe never underestimate anybody it's been proven in sports time and time again. We should take it one game at a time at least we are going to the dance.
Question? other than last year when is the last time TN was in the dance?

Creighton's RPI is irrelevant. They won the MVC tournament. You know, actual games, not computer garbage.

Every year from 1998-2001.
