Lol, I didn't really mean for those two posts to be related. I've just, quite simply, seen a lot of guys(and some girls) with a lot more impressive dreads than that.

No kidding, EVERY time he touched the ball today was another point on the ole 'we need Mike Davis in this class meter'.

Dude straight up looks like the type of RB we haven't seen since Hardesty. Not a long time, but, well, if feels like 10 years ago really.

Yes, I thought Davis looked very good today -- better than I was expecting and I would love for us to sign him. Earlier though, it was reported that Davis and CJG were in almost constant contact, but someone (I believe it was Skeeter) recently said that there is now very little contact between them. That does not bode well for us getting him and I am more focused on Bourque, because he seems far more realistic. From all accounts we are his leader, at least for the moment.

Personally, I have never had a feel one way or the other on Davis. Realistically does anyone think we still have a real shot at Davis??

My guess is SC, Clemson and Georgia all have a better shot than Tenn if only for the fact that he will have taken OVs to all 3 schools since his OV to Tenn when he decides and announces. Maybe Tenn can get him back for an unofficial before then though.

Skeeter said that they are in constant contact. It was OCI that said a few days later that there was very little contact between them.
