Pretty classy first couple of posts, except I don't think winning 3 of the last 4 and being up by 27 at one time sounds like luck. Welcome to the board. :hi:

Understatement of the year. Bruce REALLY needs to formally appeal to the SEC about these refs. I've never been a fan of that but it was getting ridiculous. Especially on Chism.

I agree, that was some horrific officiating. I thought Bruce was going to have a stroke on the sideline after some of those calls.

Man, all Chism had to do was cough on a Gator and he got fouled up..

I didn't disagree with the officiating as a whole, but about how bizarrely inconsistent it seemed- both ways- at moments.

In the 2nd half, the same "let them play" rule that went in the 1st seemed to be applied overall, but it was like every now and then the refs just spazzed out and picked on particular players from both teams.

There were two calls, one on Chism and one on a UF player where, I swear to god, the player was 100 feet away feeling up a cheerleader when the refs called the foul

Yep. The 4th foul on Chism was a complete phantom call. Wayne never touched the Florida player - the Florida player fell down on his own.

The officiating was downright disgraceful, to be sure. Bad calls did seem to go both ways, but it sure seemed that Florida was much more the beneficiary than the victim.
