'12 SC WR Quinshad Davis

be nice to go back to back in the state of georgia with their gatorade players of the year. looks like davis is really coming out of nowhere to be a big time get for us, starting to like the idea of getting him over patterson. i just like the idea of building for the future. i know you cant argue with pattersons pure ungodly athleticism but you also cant like the idea of a possible one and done guy with less time to adjust. and lets think about it, why is patterson a juco and not already on a big time team making a huge name for himself? thats a legit question, someone fill me in. did he have bad grades? get into trouble? if so then heck yeah bring on davis, the kid has super impressive numbers, has four years to play and has worked hard enough in school to be an EE. sounds like he just evened the playing field.

That would be back to back in SC. Worley and Davis. Patterson was grades coming out of High School. So many recruits are have been the stars on their respective teams every since they started playing. If Teachers and coaches are not pushing them and giving them preferential treatment they won't do the required course work. Thus their grades are poor. Once a recruit figures out he needs more than athletic ability to make it to college its too late, and they end up in JUCO.

No Way! And you know this just how?

Bro just being optimistic. My life will go on just fine if he does or doesn't end up here. Hell I would take Davis over him at this point anyway. Both would be even better. There's no guarantee Patterson could even get in at UT.

This kid is blowing up at the Shrine Bowl practices, we need to put the full court press on him right now. He could very well be our best WR commit if he committed to us.

I agree, Jmoore. The interesting part is that since Clemson and USCjr haven't offered he was likely to end up at Wake Forest (and still might, they've recruited him for a long time). How does a kid like this end up at Wake?? I'd like to see them really push for this kid, with or without Patterson. JMO

This guy won't blow by you with speed but he plays hard and can really snatch the football out of the air. In a lot of his highlight film he looks like he is boxing out for a rebound and attacking the football at the highest point. You can tell he's either had good coaching or is a natural at the position.

Kid sounds like Hunter minus the speed
Will def need a year to bulk up

Great hands and in air ball ability

Wish we'd throw him in on the Jan. 13 visits. Jmoore, do you know who all is currently visiting on the 20th? Seems like Perkins is supposed to come in then.
Perkins should be the 20th also. I wish Davis & Perkins would come in on the 13th. Good thing is though we are Davis' & Perkins last visit before NSD.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I agree; seems like it would be a better environment for them if they could be around all of the current recruits and some big name guys considering us as well. Energy could bounce off of everyone. Anyhow, at least they're coming in, and like you said, last impressions can bode well.
