There have been rumors for several years that Richt was on a hot seat. This year seems to have settled some of those down a bit. However, now he is rumored to be looking around and is emerging as the leading candidate at Penn State. I guess that would serve as one of his missionary goals.

Come on guys, use the Fulmer chronicles. He just had a job saving year similar to old Phil where he won the east by default. He may have a couple more decent years before the wheels start coming off again and all the little ga fans start yelling " fire Richt" again. However with their schedule next year and recruiting they may not have near the fallout that we have had.

Yeah, all of a sudden there is a lot of buzz on Twitter. a&M must be breaking the bank. Still can't believe this is anything but Richt leveraging for a bigger number.

Might be Richt leveraging, but the beat writer for the Aggies just tweeted that the talks of him to A&M are real.

One of the A&M beat guys is saying that the Richt talk is legit.

I have no idea why Richt would make a move.

Everybody has confirmed it in the last 15 minutes or so. Talk about coming out of left field.

He's interested in TxA&M job. Look for UGa to go after Smart from Bama since he's a UGa boy, maybe ol Muschamp too. Who knows plenty of rumors out though.

The only explanation would be that A&M threw a crazy number out there.

Everyone keeps talking like Kirby Smart is an automatic at Georgia if Richt leaves. I understand the name popping up, but Georgia isn't just some chance to prove you can be a HC. Georgia is an elite program. Not sure they would just hand over the reigns to a guy who has never had a chance at HC anywhere. Especially since there is a common denominator for all of Saban's great defenses. Saban.
