Are you implying that we don't look too good because we run a spread (passing) offense? I thought that was out of necessity, not a matter of preference. We have been a Power I offense for the longest.

Graham could not tell Davis he was the number one back at SC. But now that Graham is at Tennessee he can sell Davis on being the number one back here. That's what i really liked about Graham. He left SC and said it was in the middle of recruiting, he had to go recruit for Tennessee.

Don't be so sure. Marshall wants to play as part of a rotation and clearly UGA has no idea what they're going to get from Crowell in the future. Apparently theres some pressure from his family to stay a little closer to home. UGA WILL get two backs in this class. If they think they are out of it with Gurley, they'll apply the same full court press on Davis that they used to land Marshall and Crowell.

Yeh... but I suspect he might talk about some other opportunities available to star athletes in Knoxville... like the excitement it gives UT co-eds to see the Vols win and their desire to share that excitement with players who make it happen.

But maybe we can only talk about that on message boards? :dunno:

Since Bray took over at QB, we have "effectively" run a spread offense (not to be confused with a spread OPTION offense).

Most of that is AS I STATED, out of necessity (we have no run game to turn to).

Nope. We throw the ball a lot, but we don't run a spread offense.

I think CJG will be excited as hell to be back at UT and when a coach is THAT excited and believes in the product he is selling like Jay will be.....its hard not to get swept up in that excitement too.

Uga has marshall--if they get davis too, crowell will be transferring. Will UT go after him?

You may want your coaching staff to do their homework on Mr. Davis. There's some crazy things being thrown around out there about him. It probably comes from butthurt Gators but you still have to be sure.
