Thanks for that info. C3 (Crews, Chism, and Childress) are going to have to bring their A-game, then. Bruce needs to remind Crews and Chism that playing on the road does not entitle them to pick up 2 quick fouls each in the first 10 minutes.

Something tells me that if we win the Arky game, Tabb will be the X-factor. Just a hunch.

We win the Arkansas game because that's the only team left that Pearl has never beaten! He'll have the team ready.

You're compressing the game with a 3 point lead against a horrendous shooting team with their best shooter on the bench. Essentially, they have to have a 3 by the equivalent of Bradshaw. I like the chances. Unfortunately, we gave up the O rebound and committed the stupidest foul of the season, nearly giving up a 3 pt play. Fortunately, however, he missed and we escaped.

Andy doesn't fit their profile. You either have to be a big name or have some connection to UK to appease the fans. If Tubby leaves in the next couple of years, which I don't think is certain, their list will look like this: 1. Billy Donovan, 2. John Calipari, 3. Travis Ford, and 4. John Pelphrey.

Hmm .. you don't think John Pelphrey would be higher than Ford or Cal on that list? Maybe in the 2 spot?

Had a business lunch with a big KY fan this week - he started out as a Tubby supporter, but now he wants Donovan.

1. Eaton is 20 pounds overweight and would be lucky to beat Charles Barkley in a sprint right now. 2. If Dove and Dane Bradshaw played a game of HORSE, it would take 3 days because that's how long it would take one of them to make 5 shots. 3. Muonleo isn't playing, thus I'm pretty sure he's not contibuting.

I think what Ford is doing at UMASS is more impressive than what Pelphrey is doing at South Alabama. I think Cal versus Pelphrey is a Maserati versus a Mitsubishi.

1. Is a little stretched and another sarcasm attempt.
2.Ask Morrison and Lofton who the best defender they have gone against.. Also, Dove gets about 6 points a game..(would get more if Curry would share) also is one of the best rebounders at his position.
3.You never stated in the comment about contributing, you asked about talent.

Yeah, Ford's resume when compared to Pelphrey's is stronger, all else being equal regarding their ties to UK.

Anyway, was checking out some UK boards last week and their was a lot of "homer sentiment" for Pelphrey. Still, they're not the boosters with the checks, though.

1. It's not an attempt at anything. It's a statement of fact. Eaton is getting worn out on a regular basis by every PG in the Big XII.
2. 6 whole points. I can't believe people aren't backing off of Boggan and Curry to go double Dove.
3. If a guy's not playing, his talent is irrelevant.

I've now seen Pelphrey's teams live twice. Once last year at UT and tonight at FAU. I was far more impressed with Rex Walters than I was Pelphrey. His team is the most talented in the Sun Belt, but they show scant indication of any real coaching.

So, how much longer do you give Tubby in the Bluegrass State? A year? 2 years? 3 years?

I'm guessing he resigns in the next couple of years, they have a huge "Tubby Tribute" production up there mainly for show, and then the boosters get who they want.

I think Tubby will leave when he finally decides he wants to give the NBA a shot. If Mo Cheeks gets the axe in Philly or Bernie Bickerstaff bites the dust in Charlotte, that could be as early as the end of this season.

2.Like I said, he is great defender and rebounder, and would be a much better on the offensive end if he got the ball more.
3.ok, You didn't mention that in your first comment.
OSU has underachieved this year, they have pretty good talent with some decent post players. There is no reason why they should be going to the NIT. Tonight was another example of big-time meltdown brewing in Stillwater.

Putting Calipari ahead of Kennedy is lunacy. Additionally, I think they might be movng toward the late 20th century at least in their thinking about coaches and the program as a whole. A couple of those "names" have left a pretty poor taste in their mouths. I think they'll go out there and get the best coach available, period.

I'm not sure how Rick Pitino left them with a bad taste. Also, anyone who thinks UK would hire Andy ahead of Cal needs to seek psychiatric help immediately.
