A subject near and dear to my heart. I love music. I'm blessed to be one of those people who react very strongly to music.

I've played the piano since I was 6. I was the accompanist for both my high school and colege choirs, I've played weddings and I played in church.

I like everything from classical to rock, showtunes to rap. A good song can change my whole mood.

What do you like to listen to?

Everything but metal. Majority is country, but some folky, some rock, some hip hop/rap. I can appreciate and enjoy almost anything.

I love the piano. It'd be awesome to watch you play.

I went with my roommate to the studio and he had to use the piano to learn progressions and chords or something. It was really difficult. It was for an aural skills class. I would be totally lost in there.

I agree about the metal. I used to listen to more country years ago but all the new people sound the same. I've seen Brad Paisley and Keith Urban in concert and both are excellent showmen. As far as old country goes, few can touch the awesomeness that is Conway Twitty. I love Conway.

Do you ever listen to classical or Broadway tunes? Based on our previous convos, I think you would love Phantom of The Opera. It's one of my all-time favorites, along with Les Mis.

Conway is definitely one of my favorites. I really like George Jones too. And Strait.

I do sometimes because a good friend of mine is an actor and aspiring to be on Broadway.

This guy I stumbled onto a while back. He has some great songs I'll throw up in the appropriate thread sometime if you remind me. I went to a show of his here recently, was great.


I'll come in Saturday and we can for old time's sake.
