Penn State scandal (merged)

Sometimes the truth hurts when one is forced to face their own logic.

I don't claim the moral high ground. I have many regrets, and many mistakes, in my past.

Fortunately for me, being an enabler for child abuse is not one of of them.

The good thing is that you can always take that nametag off, and get a new one.

Before it's too late.

Go Vols.

Let me put it to you this way. Were you in the Navy? Did I read that right? Lets say you walk in on your Captain butt raping a kid in the shower, what do you do.

Now stfu with all this enabling crap you damned hypocrite, just because I am aware of the reasons for covering all this crap up doesnt mean I approve of any of it.

No, it just means I have enough sense to realize that in that same exact situation, I dont know what I would have done. If you say that you do then you are just a damned liar.

I believe I do. And you don't know me.

Am I a damned liar, or are you trying to use me to justify your argument?

Which would benefit your opinion more?

My advice: stay away from children. No reason to take the risk of being in a position where "you don't know what you would do."

Especially where a child is involved.

Go Vols.

Then you're just another idiot.

If I walk into a public shower and see an old man sodomizing a 10 year old kid I dont have any doubts about what I would do. But if I am a GA at Penn State, and I see the DC, who I have known most of my life, raping a kid, I dont know what I would have done. Scenario 1= I pulverize the son of a bit_ch and drag his bleeding half dead ass to the cops, Scenario 2 = I dont know, and you know what, neither do you.

Then you are lost.

No, I'm just being rational. Nobody knows what they would have done had they actually been McQueary, and in that same situation. If you say you know exactly what you would do, then you are a liar. Plain and simple. Greywolf just proved it by not beating the crap out of his commanding officer for raping a kid.

Bottom line is, you don't know, you only think you do but you really dont because you have never experienced anything like what happened in that shower.

I wouldn't leave it to someone else to report to the proper authorities. He should've gone to the police, not Paterno. That's on him. Although, it is sad that JoePa couldn't be trusted to deal with it.

You havent read this thread have you, not a pussy, but I'm also not a GA at Penn State observing my assistant head coach, who I have known most of my life, raping a kid in the shower. Now, from that perspective if you say you know without a doubt exactly what you would do in that situation then you are nothing but a friggin liar.

Now if you wouldnt mind, please tell me exactly what you would have done in this situation, and dont leave out any details you bigmouth twerp. lol

Operative words...."I believe" Thank you, so you dont know exactly what you would do. Thats all I wanted to know. lol

Time to end this literally pointless discussion...

On a hopefully humorous note.

Hoss, you have no idea who you are messing with here. I'm am Internet Tough Guy. THE Internet Tough Guy.

Teddy R. followed ME up San Juan hill...Chesty Puller used to say goodnight to ME...Chester Nimitz rode in my wake...R. Lee Ermey used to follow me around to pick up notes on how to be tough...I used to beat up on Steven Seagal just for fun...I taught Clint Eastwood how to stare...and Troy Polamalu still wets himself when I walk into the same room as him.

Oh...and Trump is still begging me to back him for POTUS.

You impressed yet?

I know what I would have done. No moral dilemna here. A child was involved. Apparently, we hold different opinions on our responsibility when it comes to defending the defenseless.

I understand.

You have your opinion; I have mine.

I'm okay with mine.

Where did that come from?

Are you so delusional that you think because you posted a hypothetical question, it becomes reality?

Sick. Really sick.

I would have drug Sandusky out of that shower and kept him detained until the police showed up...it's pretty simple actually..could have been handled in a few minutes...instead of lasting almost a decade, and letting more children get abused

And as much as we disagree on the Vols, here we find common ground.

It's called doing the right thing.

You did it.

Duh! In the hypothetical that you are Mike McQueary and observe a child being raped, you know exactly what you would do, which might be to beat the crap out of one sick mofo. But in the second hypothetical, you only "believe" what you might do. Cut and dried. Thats really all I wanted to know..... you hesitated, and waffled.

The point of this exercise is, being a Navy man if you walked in on a superior officer sodomizing a 10 year old boy you dont know what the **** you would do. Thats the bottom line.

LOL I doubt that if you WERE Mike McQueary you would be so certain about that. But we all have to have our delusions dont we?

Lawyer says Joe Paterno's law team may try to use potential legal loophole - ESPN

Sounds like JoPa is about to get his @ss sued off. The grad assistant, Penn St. AD, and missing DA would be the most responsible IMO.

So the victims are going to sue the dead AD? LOL

Everybody is going to see a civil suit over this, most likely WRT to Paterno, he has a hold harmless clause in his contract that indemnifies him, probably McQueary too as part of the overriding payoff to keep quiet. There are probably hundreds of lawyers lining up to get a piece of the action.

Funny you asked the hypothetical question, which I never answered (what was the point?), and that now you seize on your own posts to attempt to corner me.

Typical response for an enabler, by the way.

Fortunately, I never faced that situation as "a Navy man". I did, however, face a similar situation as a Deputy Sheriff when I happened upon an older man and a younger male at a boat ramp late one night a few years back. Took me a few minutes, and a conversation with a 14 year old, to figure it out.

When I did, I made the arrest. DA allowed a plea, and the offender is an RSO. For the record, he has been arrested twice more since I left that agency. Guess what for?

No...I don't think I would hesitate to do the right thing.

Because I didn't.

Easy to put you on my ignore list...but probably better if I don't, and keep an eye on you.

One never knows where the next Sandusky is lurking...

Jesus, are you that dense?

That is about the stupidest analogy I've read in these insane 300 pages of BS, but this post takes the cake. So you were a deputy, and observed NOTHING, but you asked some questions and arrested the old man. What bravery! Did you get to pulll your gun, did you pepper spray the guy? LMAO

You moron, there is no connection with being a friggin cop and being a grad assistant in a Div 1 football program. If you think there is then you are as stupid and delusional as you seem to appear!

You clearly hesitated when I asked what you would do if you witnessed your commanding officer doing the same damn thing, because you dont know what you would do. Plain and simple, thank you now STFU you dammed hypocrite.

GreyWolf, use the ignore feature brother! Because all he has is liar and name calling. And yes, you never answered his little situation and he says you did............but that would mean he li..........but not in his eyes!

Yeah, I'm a dense moronic hypocrite.

You're an enabler.

I'll STFU now.

Good night, Joe.

He is missing. Dead people dont need to destroy hard drives and cash out bank accounts.
