No, I'm just being rational. Nobody knows what they would have done had they actually been McQueary, and in that same situation. If you say you know exactly what you would do, then you are a liar. Plain and simple. Greywolf just proved it by not beating the crap out of his commanding officer for raping a kid.

Bottom line is, you don't know, you only think you do but you really dont because you have never experienced anything like what happened in that shower.

I wouldn't leave it to someone else to report to the proper authorities. He should've gone to the police, not Paterno. That's on him. Although, it is sad that JoePa couldn't be trusted to deal with it.

I would have drug Sandusky out of that shower and kept him detained until the police showed up...it's pretty simple actually..could have been handled in a few minutes...instead of lasting almost a decade, and letting more children get abused

Duh! In the hypothetical that you are Mike McQueary and observe a child being raped, you know exactly what you would do, which might be to beat the crap out of one sick mofo. Everybody is going to see a civil suit over this, most likely WRT to Paterno, he has a hold harmless clause in his contract that indemnifies him, probably McQueary too as part of the overriding payoff to keep quiet. There are probably hundreds of lawyers lining up to get a piece of the action.

Funny you asked the hypothetical question, which I never answered (what was the point?), and that now you seize on your own posts to attempt to corner me.

I did, however, face a similar situation as a Deputy Sheriff when I happened upon an older man and a younger male at a boat ramp late one night a few years back. Took me a few minutes, and a conversation with a 14 year old, to figure it out.

When I did, I made the arrest. DA allowed a plea, and the offender is an RSO. For the record, he has been arrested twice more since I left that agency. Guess what for?

No...I don't think I would hesitate to do the right thing.

Because I didn't.

Easy to put you on my ignore list...but probably better if I don't, and keep an eye on you.
