Cincy lost to a team with the number 2 schedule in the NCAA. They should be higher IMO.

The Vols should recruit your squirrel. Doubt any big defensive linemen or linbackers could catch that sucker.

The Squirrel has moves. I thought I hit him on the way to work this morning and when I looked in the rear view mirror he was striking the Heisman pose.

Only decent win of the year. Although Cincy is lucky to play in such a crappy conference.

It wasn't a true signature because it wasn't considered a big win at the time, but looking back it does show the potential this team had at the beginning of the year. It can show what could have been and show our fans that with everyone healthy this team will have a lot of potential.

By far the best win in Dooley's Tennessee career. I have a feeling it won't even be in the top three this time next year though.

cincinnati sucks folks.

take pride in it if you want to, but they haven't beaten a team with less than 4 losses this season.

it's the big east. it would really be the equivalent of giving southern mississippi their only loss of the season.

Same can be said for Florida.

You should really worry more about staying above .500 this season as opposed to what some UT fans think about a win that seemingly took place in a different lifetime.

why is UT's win over the BE leading Bearcats no big deal but Vandy's narrow win over the BE bottom Huskies proof they are on the way up?

Because Trolls and negavols are all about stirring up the pot and have you not heard...Vandy is playing team football...not sure how any team can't play team football but apparently the Vols are not :loco:

Don't you EVER mock the June 2011 Recruiting Champions of the 2012 Recruiting Season again.

Pretty simple.

UT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Vandy.

The level of expectations are just a little different here in Knoxville.

I really thought the point of the thread was to show that, if nothing else, Cincy is at least a "decent" team that when we had our entire offense intact were basically able to eviscerate. 34 1st down, 531 yards, 10-13 on 3rd down conversions. Hell, Poole ran for over 100yds at 4.8ypc. (2td's and a FG in the 2nd half too)

Upshot, having Bray AND Hunter (not just one or the other) makes that much a difference to our offense.

does beating the teams that cincinnati has beaten honestly make them a "decent team"

austin peay
akron
nc state
miami (oh)
louisville (who couldn't beat fiu at home)
south florida (a 3 point win against a team yet to win a big east conference game)

I hate Florida. That being said, there's no way Cincy would beat Florida. I still consider it a respectable win, and a sign of the gap between the Big East and the SEC.

Dang. We are bragging about beating Cincy. How far we have fallen....

LOLOLOL ... good one ... but sadly the Cincy game does appear to be the highlight of our season ... so far.

Go Vols ... beat Vandy and Kentucky ... puhleezzzzze!!!
