The problem with the SEC is parity. I don't think the league's mediocre, although LSU and Alabama have definitely fallen short of expectations. I do think, however, that the league's bottom feeder teams are better than that of any of the other power conferences. Vandy, Georgia, Ole Miss and Auburn are markedly improved over last year, and strangely enough, all four of those teams are still in the hunt for the Dance. (although I expect the weaknesses of Ole Miss and Auburn to be exposed down the stretch.)
