Eight games to go. Do you get all four of them in the the regular season or do you need to get past first round of SEC tournament?

I say you get them in the regular season.

if we can get these next two home games, our future will look immensly better than it did last week.

if we drop one or both, then the pressure is on..and we are basically looking to have to make a run in the SEC tourney...

one game at a time.......

If we can convert all of our steals to points then that will be a huge factor. We play great D but then fail to capitalize to pften.

Exactly! I kept telling my wife 'we're gonna lose this freakin' game if we can't get points off turnovers...'

yep...i thought the same thing last night. that game, had we converted on all the mistakes LSU made, would have been over early on.

I think the Vols need to beat Florida and Kentucky for sure, two more resume wins along with the Texas, Oklahoma State, and Memphis wins......Those 5 games will help big time.....And then beat Vandy....I think that would get the Vols in

I watched a lot of your game. LSU made some runs at you, but you kept going back up by ten. I frankly expected a lot more out of LSU this year, but I do get the feeling they have almost given up.

What was the deal with all the empty seats?

the resume is fine as is...they just need to get the conf. record to respectability.

and that doesn't mean they need to beat UF.

if we win the next two at home we'll be 6-5 in conf. beat SC and that's 7-5. of the last 4 games in the season, we get Bama and FL at home and go to ARK and GA. win one and we're 8-8 and we're in. lose all 4 at 7-9 and we still might get in.

but the most important games right now are the next 3. these two at home against teams we've lost to and a bad SC on the road. these are three games we need to win. we do that, and i'll feel pretty good about our chances.

i dunno, was a little disappointed. Lofton back, on national TV etc....thought it would be a little more full.

i don't know what the actual attendance was, but it is a 24,000 seat arena....there were probably 14,000-15,000 people there anyway....the place is just too big to begin with.

True, it is fine I'm just thinking that those would be nice wins to add to it......Agreed, the conference record does need to be better....Uf would be a nice win to get though......I think that game may go a little different since by then hopefully Lofton will be 100% and its at home...Agreed, that the next 3 games are pretty big too....Should beat Vandy....Who else to we play at home other than Florida and Kentucky? Alabama?

17K showed up last night. It was a 900pm midweek tipoff that makes it hard for people to get out of at a decent time and get to work the next day. The Tommy is too big so it looks bad even when we have a large crowd. The renovations should help that along with a decrease in seats. we are still in the top 5 in attendence nationwide for bball.

thanks........i figured it was probably better than i thought.

it just looks bad on TV... the upper decks behind the goals were virtually empty....it looked worse on TV than it probably actually was...though the crowd was loud at times....sounded good.

Good points. Ha dnot realized it was such a huge place. Makes it seem empty when you have that many open seats, but I guess in reality that's a pretty big turnout.

That place was built for concerts so it seats like 25K. Those upper seats are aweful. I would like it to be around 20K. I miss old Stokely...that place was right on top of the action. Would be cool to have a "throwback" game in there one year.

if memory serves, way back when, Stoakly used to be considered the toughest place to play in the SEC.......small, no a/c, 6000 or so fans right on top of you...........
