I heard LSU is the worst. I have to believe after what happened to our fans last time we went there when they threw beers at our buses and started rocking it back and forth.

Because the first Florida Tennessee game I can remember watching included Gaffney's "catch."

mine was the 31-0 beat down in Neyland in 94. it was also my first game at Neyland.

why don't people like them? cause their an SEC E rival. and the winner of that game has a leg up on the division. and more times than not, they've beaten us. pretty simple to me.

no, no....i have been watching TN football since i was a little kid, the first game i remember, listening to, was an Ole Miss/TN game in like 78/79???

but i had never been to Neyland til i was in school there, and that was in 1994, i transferred in as junior....i had seen them play in a couple of bowl games and on the occaisons they came to Memphis to play Ole Miss or Memphis St. they also came to play the Citadel one year in Memphis....but that was it until i went to school there.:thumbsup:

That was the first Florida game I saw in person. I didnt have a ticket so I spent 70 or 80 with a friend to scalp in. I remember seeing the Gaffney catch and not thinking about it...it was a drop, lets stop them the next play. Just unbelievable.

But you know they say most games arent decided on one play. Iirc that last drive uf scored the winning td, we had them starting out at the 9 yard line. You really cant ask for anything more.

70-80...you got lucky. My friend came to the FL/TN game and he dropped $140.

I hate the gators cause they always beat us in Sept and it puts us back a game of going to the sec championship game and that gator chomp in the swamp, heck my brother-in-law who grew up in pittsburgh and is an avid penn state fan has my nephew trained that when I say go vols he gives me the gator chomp.

Their annoying fight/cheer songs. EX: daaa da da da da goo gators daaa da da da da goo gators
