If someone has more time than me can find this out, I would appreciate it.

I know that we are traditionally known as Wide Reciever U, but we have put a lot of Running Backs in the league lately too. Just off the top of my head, I think that maybe only Miami has put more backs in the NFL than UT in the past 10 years.

Our guys dont seem to get the props for some reason. I watched Houston carry the Jets a few times, but all you heard about on ESPN was that FSU guy, Washington.

Most of the backs that came out of UT haven't been extraordinary ('cept for jamal a couple years ago). How many former UT running backs would you be willing to draft in your fantasy league?

I picked up Travis Henry on waivers this past season, and he helped me win my fantasy league

I know that Charlie Garner was the man in Oakland for a few years, James Stewart was the starter in Detroit before he got hurt, Travis Henry was the second leading rusher in the AFC when he was with Buffalo, Cedric Houston will play his way to a starter on some team. And of course, Jamal Lewis.

Travis Stephens played some in Tampa Bay, but his pro career was forgettable.

That is sad, he was my favorite rb for the vols. I truly beleive had our defense held after he broke that long td run agianst Ga he would have won the heisman that year.

Gerald Riggs Jr. is no longer in the NFL I don't believe. He was cut from the practice squad if I remember correctly.

No, Fleming was cut by the Titans.

UT may be able to add Lennon Creer to this list in 4 or 5 years.

Yea, he was a cut by the Titans, but maybe he'll get a shot with the Broncos.

From GovolsXtra:

The Denver Broncos signed fullback Troy Fleming as a "futures" free agent earlier this month.

Fleming was a sixth-round pick by the Tennessee Titans in 2004 and was one of the fastest running backs timed at the 2004 scouting combine. He did not play in 2006 after being cut in training camp by the Titans.

You've got that right. Also, all of the recent ones were/are really good.

Let's not forget Brandon Jacobs of the New York football Giants, who transferred to a I-AA school after he wasn't able to get playing time over the Cadi and Ronnie Brown.

I bet ole Johnny Majors would have love to run a T-formation with Jacobs, Williams and Brown.

There's also Rudi Johnson, Stephen Davis, and I think one more.
