Also, despite their serpentine appearance, electric eels are not actually eels. Their scientific classification is closer to carp and catfish.

A layer of low clouds covers the alpine valleys of northern Italy, just south of Lake Como. The clouds are just dense enough to hide uniformly the valley and also filter the artificial lights below like they were an opaque blanket. Above the layer, moonlight and high cirrus clouds make the night less dark. You can easily recognize the round shape of Lago di Olginate and the lights of the villages all around its banks.

HeLa cells are called as such because they originate from the tumor of a woman named Henrietta Lacks. She died of cervical cancer in 1951, and more of her cells exist now than ever existed in her living body. Her cells have been used in research regarding AIDS, polio, cancer and much more.
