Right......hopefully.

I watched the game here in Boston tonight with a whole room full of Patriot haters ... and a few pro-Manning guys :)) ). I thought I was going to puke at another great choke at half time. But Coach Dungy (sp?) said it like it was ... score a quick one .. and then we are one posession from being right back in this!! And they were

Not if the Colts don't learn kickoff and punt coverage. Devin Hester is capable of tearing them apart.

Incredible game! Peyton came up huge in the 2nd half when it mattered most. Congratulations Peyton. I wish the Colts had a band, just seemed like something was missing not hearing Rocky Top. Time to get that ring now.

I just realized that this is the first year in ten years that both home teams have won their championship games.

The Bears defense shut down a pretty explosive offense today, but Grossman is still a huge question mark.

I like the Colts chances considering they put up 38 points on a Belichick defense.

I am not meaning this negative at all...so save the mean comments, but how much talk will we hear about 2 african american coaches in the super bowl and it being black history month?? it will probably be the most asked question for the next 2 weeks. I am happy for both coaches, especially Dungy..such a great christian man. I think he is already sick of the question.

You'll definitely hear a lot about it, no doubt.

Michael Wilbon's head will probably explode with excitement. His Bears made it, plus two black coaches. He'll think he woke up in Heaven.

It is historic, so it will be talked about. I'm sure since they have 2 weeks before the big game they will go overboard a little bit. But, having said that, both of these coaches seem like nothing but class acts and deserve all the accolades they receive.

A lot of the Bears D was helped out by awful conditions both on the field and the weather. The Saints had many opportunities had they not turned it over 5 times. They just gave up field position way too many times.

Also, Peyton just beat Michigan today, how about UF in two weeks??

A number of VOLS have started in the big game, although Peyton is the only one I can think of at QB.

Deon Grant, Darwin Walker, and Charlie Garner all come to mind in recent memory as starters. In fact, our UTsports.com official page has a pretty neat stat in that at least one former VOL has played in every Super Bowl since 1992, and in 30 of the last 41  .

The Bears offense was playing in thoe same conditions... the Bears defense forced everyone of those turnovers by either picking it off or ripping the ball from the ball carrier's hands. They could've did that in a dome.

The Bears offense also had immaculate field position, granted because of the turnovers, but i don't think that they would have stripped the ball 3 times had it not been cold and snowy. The Saints just don't fumble it that much.

The better team won, so it doesn't really matter how they did it. They've forced turnovers all season and capitalized on them. Today was no different.

It is historical, but even Dungy, tonight, said he's more concerned with the Colts right now. I'm sure it will have a bigger impact after the game than it does now (with the coaches, anyway). I'd hate for my coach to be thinking more about the historical significance of this than the actual Super Bowl.

BTW, I wonder how much publicity the next white Tailback will get.:)

Dungy in by means won this game. Defense played like crap, and that's his responsibility. The offense is Peyton's. Dungy doesn't do squat with it and that's a good thing. Dungy won the last two games. Peyton won this game practically by himself. Seriously think about it. The recievers played like crap at times, the entire defense got blown away, and the O-line and tons of breakdowns. This one goes to you Peyton.
