We have never done an orange helmet. here's the proof. click SEC. Scroll to Tennessee. The Helmet Project

but i would love to see an orange helmet with white power T, thin black trim around it (so you could see it better only) white stripe and white facemask. but for only one or 2 games a year. would be pretty cool, IMO.

Maybe if anything we do the UT logo on the helmet for a game with a checkerboard instead of the orange stripe with orange pants and the throwback we wore in 04. Something different but not really breaking tradition

What if they took away the Vols and just left the Davy Crockett logo with Grey facemasks?

I think an adidas retro uni would be ok once a season. I think we need to keep our unis the way they are regardless of who we are affiliated with.

Ummmm...............................No!!!!

I don't want anything but the power T on the helmet. Just my opinion. The only helmet change I might back would be the color if they ever decided to use the other color jerseys again and only then for that one game every year. But then the power T should still be there.

Your right, because nothing spells out "volunteer" like a big letter T :crazy:

Seriously, there's nothing more throw back than sporting Davy ****ing Crockett as the logo on our uniforms. It would be Epic, especially if we ever played Texas :)

Orange or White shell. Double Cross stripes. Power T overlapping the center of the stripe on the side of the helmet. Tip of the hat to the old helmet tradition associated with Tennessee football.

My sources are telling me that texas already has this logo on their new unis to be unvealed against ou. Tifwiw. We don't want to copycat Texas now do we?
