As I have said for a while, only way this kid is a VOL is if Michigan tells him they do not have room for him.
If you look at his picture on the front page of TOS on the Michigan board, he sure looks the part of a Wolverine. I think the only recruits I noticed decked out in Orange at our game were the kids already commited. Maybe Danny will wear his UT camo hat to our game VS LSU.
Taking his visit no matter what eh? I don't believe that for a minute. No way Dooley wastes time on a kid who just committed to another school. And if the cards fall right for us that LSU game will be twice as wild and loud as the Michigan game.
If he's committing prior to the OV, I'm not sure how that looks good for us.
As for the sour grapes here, the staff is not going to tell him he can't visit if he wants to. Hopefully our game day atmosphere vs. LSU can match ND vs. Michigan.

All things point to him being a VOL lock. It is so very obvious.
All this makes you happier than a pig in $^*t doesn't it? You are actually gloating that we are losing out on the biggest need we have. What a complete and utter POS troll.:the_finger: For the love of everything orange take Vol out of your username. I wish O'Brian would just get this farce over with and tell Dooley thanks, but no thanks so the staff can quit wasting what time and recources they have left. Our staff will not ruin his "moment" they got to much class for that. And I am not bashing the kid, I understand picking your home team, just get it over with for gosh sakes.
You can't fault a kid for wanting to go to his home state school, especially after visiting during a game like Michigan had last weekend. That was pretty special. That we are in the conversation says we are doing something right. Also, there is no reason the LSU/Tenn game won't have a special atmosphere too. Time will tell, but it sure looks like he is at least a Michigan lean right now.
Dan O'Brien is a Vol.
