I don't care if he has a fourth star. I don't care if people think he's too big. Shawne Merriman played outside linebacker at 270. Kid's a baller and I'm psyched to have him coming to the Hill.

Mario Williams plays OLB at 6'6" 290lbs for the Texans.

All this talk from Perroni about Santos' weight leads me to this question. So what if he ends up as a DE? Does that automatically exclude him from being a potential 4*?

If this guy's strengths are being a smart, nasty run-stopper and he has the size then what keeps him from being a 4* DE, especially if he has 4.6 speed!?

A. He doesn't play DE in highschool or at camps, so no one knows how good he can be at it

B. Part of being a good DE is being able to rush the passer, which requires a lot more than just pure speed, and once again b/c he doesn't actually play DE we don't know if he can still stop the run while engaged with a blocker

This kid is a freak.
last game he had 14 tackles, 2 sacks and a forced fumble. Not to mention he played both sides of the ball scoring 3 tds on offense.
