Who has outrecruited Hiestand since he arrived? UF wouldn't have Chaz today if Hiestand had been on board sooner and Kiffin's departure wasn't timed so poorly.

our coach is pretty confident.other than jelks we arent really chasing any other o-linemen that hard at the moment, if they felt dj wasnt in the fold they would have picked it up a notch in that area. also was told dj and his family love the vfl program. we'll all know soon enough.

I think the reason you've been scoffed at is that you give no reason for thinking that while claiming it to be a fact.

I don't know.... but I don't claim to. If there's any indecision with the kid then no one can really know since he doesn't. Anything reported now could change. Any or everything reported now could be misinformation by someone.

So to say it is wise to be skeptical of someone who claims to "know" but provides no reason why... is pretty legit.

Do you get the feeling that the coaches did not think they had much of a shot with Kiel? I know Hubbs said the Elite 11 talk was overblown.

That is what I was thinking. I really do like Peterman. That is how I read his post as well. I just figured if they thought they had a good shot at Kiel, then they would have waited it out.

Agreed, from what other reliable people have said about the kid's character and family he doesn't seem like the kind who's going to play the recruiting game unlike some former recruits (L. Dawson).

Same as you. I've been following recruiting long enough to know not to pay any attention to the daily chatter, unless it's from ver very trusted sources. Skeet said HH feels confident, therefore I will, until told not to by anyone in the know.

The line has been drawn. Insiders are speaking for their respective sides. DJ is pretty quiet about this. Only thing that anyone can do is wait it out. Whoever gets him has to stay in his ear all the way up to December.

On the UF boards they're talking about a new OL that UF just offered. Why would they do that, you think? Hmm....

Then they said this:

as someone who goes on other boards, one of the things that helps in terms of learning something from the board is figuring out what posters on the board have a clue and which ones don't.

UF is taking 4-5 OL this cycle 2-3 T and 2G. Has nothing to do with DJ...if UF had 3 commits at OT the staff would still take DJ.
