okra with pinto beans, fresh corn, kilt lettuce, fried potatoes, and cornbread. my pants just rose in the front.

I haven't had that since I was a kid. I need to make some. I did love it when Mom made it.

my grandmother makes it almost every time she fries potatoes and cooks beans. she also makes this stuff for me in the summer time...said her mom used to make it to go with beans. the ingredients are

cut up tomatoes
cut up cucumbers
cut up onions
vinegar
tabasco
a little salt

i usually have her make a tub of it, and i'll eat on it for four or five days.

Thanks. All I remember of Mom's was the sizzle and the taste. I'd forgotten about the wild green onions she put in it.

i think the only stuff she uses in kilt lettuce is the lettuce, hot oil, onions, vinegar, and salt.

I have Nazi socks!! Just received socks I ordered from Columbia (the company, not the country). Put them and looked down and their logo looks a little like a swastika. Googled on the internet to see if anyone else had noticed and found this.

North Dakota for the next 2 years and 8 months. I lived in Memphis most of my life. As far as I know, Memphis still has Piccadilly.

Watching this tournament makes me want to move back to COS, the scenery is all familiar, used to cut through the edge of the broadmoor to get on the mountain trails.
