The same Mr Harris that was accusing Bruce of not running plays for Tobias, in an attempt to keep him another year, is saying that the only reason Tobias will leave is if Bruce is gone? Uh, no. That's just his out. And he's gonna take it. Tobias was gone either way.

what did everyone expect was going to happen ... Pearl was a players coach ... its going to be hard to find a coach to match him and thats probably what the players see ... Harris will go in the first round and Scotty will probably go into the NBA spring training as a walk on and then to Europe (which a lot of NBA players are looking at) ... Its going to take a great coach to come in and fix this mess. The Vols might drop in the basement in the SEC, but I'll still sit and watch them. Go Vols !!!!!

This will be an interesting next week. Regardless of the coach I think Harris will be gone.

Just about everything regarding the basketball program is a wait and see until the new coach is hired. So I'd wait until then and you should have your answer. I personally think Tobias will declare for the draft.

It's a business decision for Tobias.

If he gets a lottery-level evaluation, he's probably gone. If he gets a 2nd-round evalutaion, but he hates the new coach, he probably leaves. If he gets a 2nd-round evaluation and he thinks the new coach can help his game, he stays.

He'd be foolish to make his decision at this point...it's business, not emotional.

I think the question should be ...has his daddy decided what Tobias is going to do.

IMO, he will definitely declare for the draft. However, I still say there is a 10-20% chance of him coming back before the June deadline if he is very low first round pick, or we get a sweet coach.

predicted to go to the bulls at # 28 in the 2011 draft. he's gone

If you are predicted at #28, and I'm guessing you are looking at somewhere like NBAdraft.net, then you probably shouldn't go out because it's too much of a risk to slip into the second round, where you're not guaranteed a contract.

This is the problem.

If you slip into round 2, not only are you not guaranteed a contract, you're not even guaranteed a roster spot. You could get drafted and then cut.

The financial difference in round 1 and round 2 is staggering. If you're on the edge and you think you could become a mortal first-round lock, the business move is to wait.

Tell that to Kevin Ware and Chris Jones...

He should stay another year. I definitly saw his game grow and pick up at the end of the season...however, another year would put him at the top of the next draft class and mean alot more $$$$$.
