Trooper and former players recruiting against vols?

Then Austin Ward needs to interview AR if hes supposed to be the one that reported it. It would be easier to tell if hes lying or not. I honestly dont believe GJ.

Still don't understand how he can say he couldn't persuade him on a place he's never been (assumption: knows little about) but then says he said a lot of positive things about Auburn.

How does Wright get his number? Who was it from? If TT gave it to him, they've kept in touch? And being in touch he would know of GJ's frustrations, issues, etc. Does anyone realize this was a recruiting no-no? If GJ hates anyone beside coaches selling a school, why did he spend so long on a call talking positives? If you love your school, why even pitch another school you claim to know little about?

It would benefit him to keep his mouth shut now. Because of what he did, it could easily bring 'AA in to look deeper. Phone records are an easy thing to look up. If it was TT's phone things could get hairy. Opening his mouth has now put him on the record. And I wonder since he's still on scholly why Dooley would let him get on the radio or talk to the press at this point? A lot of questions. And this thing really stinks on many fronts.

We have to deal with this Trooper Taylor **** every day .........I have never seen a program that is run as dirty as the BARN is right now. Hopefully the NCAA will shut them down soon.

4. I have also been told that Trooper went to see Gabe and gave him that hat personally on NSD. You don't slap someone in the face that is proven and going to be a top pick of the school you choose unless Nick knew about it. This was all part of the recruiting ploy. Look for pictures of Trooper at the celebration for the BCS trophy. Trooper is wearing the same type of hat with the words 'The champ is here' embroidered on the back. Gabe and Tiny talked about this and the last time they talked about what happend and Gabe still told him he was a Vol. He didn't think Gabe was dumb enough to BUY this bs.

Wait... who is Nick? Matter of fact, just start over with the story about what happened at the BCS championship trophy ceremony. I'm missing a few pieces in this. What is the significance of "The Champ is here" hat?

Disgusting. GJ owes the university that gave him a scholarship loyalty if nothing else. Promoting a scumbag like TT over your own school speaks to his character. Or at least it would if he had any.

Auburn is already in HUGE trouble. Trooper has been a known violator for awhile but nothing can be clearly pinned on him. He has been on the NCAA radar as well as the boosters there at Auburn for years.

A coaching friend of mine said that they have the goods on the Cam Newton thing and that Trooper will be part of the bunch they go after.

Just wait. This will be a VERY interesting off season. Bobby Lowder cant buy his way out of this one. Especially with the FBI on his back.

Nick Fairley... former DT at the Barn

Of course Trooper is going to recruit against Tennessee. No surprise there.

The overwhelming majority of football players are done after the fall semester of their senior year.

Most graduate in the fall and start training for the combine/tryouts.

So technically, even if GJ is "on scholarship" there's a very good chance he's not been in Knoxville since the bowl practices moved to Nashville

"Nick who"? monogrammed on Wright's hat at his announcement.

Remember the gay idiot slater looking guy on espnu asked if it was a shot at nick saban? Most clueless guy working in anything regarding sports.

I didn't watch the full announcement, so no I don't remember him.

That does sound like a Mike Griffith question though.
